1. UPRIGHT SUPPORT
The upright supports come preassembled with the base plate, ensuring swift and effortless installation onto the foundation.
2.STRUCTURAL PURLINS
The 5 structural purlins come preassembled with connecting brackets and are conveniently labeled for ease of assembly
3.NOVA ZERO RAILING
The innovative rail design featuring integrated water guttering system, easily attaching onto the structural purlins with the rail clamp, eliminating the need for drilling.
4.SOLAR PANELS
Install solar panels simply by sliding them from underneath the structure onto the rail and securing with underside panel clamps.

Our integrated water guttering system is built into the rail itself, keeping rainwater away from your car and home, with panel joins staying dry. That means no water pooling to corrode the structure, and no gutters to clear out every season.

What types of vehicles can the NOVA carport accommodate?
The NOVA Zero Railing Carport System is versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of vehicles, from standard cars and SUVs to larger vehicles such as vans and trucks. We recommend the maximum height of your parked vehicle to be under 2.3m.
What maintenance is required for the carport system?
The carport is built from 6005-T5 aluminium and Zinc-Aluminium-Magnesium steel, chosen to resist corrosion through years of Australian sun, rain and salt air, so it’s designed for low maintenance. The 7° roof pitch sheds water properly and suits panel performance. We’d still recommend a regular check and occasional clean of the panels and guttering to keep everything performing well.
Is the ZERO Railing carport suitable for commercial projects, or just residential?
The ZERO Railing system is a modular, railless solar panel carport built mainly for residential use, single and double car spaces where fast, simple installation matters most. For larger commercial projects, covering dozens or hundreds of bays, feeding a building’s grid connection or an EV charging network, we have a dedicated commercial carport system engineered for that scale.
How does the waterproofing actually work?
Water protection is built into the rail itself. The rail design has an integrated guttering system that captures rainwater and drains it away properly, so the space stays dry enough to use underneath even in heavy rain.
Is the system engineered for Australian wind loads and standards?
Yes. In Australia, solar carports are treated as structures under the Australian Standards, generally classified as Class 10a, which means they have to be engineered to handle the wind loads for where they’re built. The ZERO Railing system is designed with those regional wind speeds in mind. Ask the NOVA team for a general structural engineering report to understand what it covers.
