Modular Design.
Effortless Installation. Absolute Water Protection
The NOVA ZERO Railing solar carport rethinks what a carport should do: turn a driveway into clean power, without the leaks and fiddly assembly that plague most builds. It’s solar-ready from the ground up, available in single-bay and double-bay configurations, with waterproofing built into the rail itself and compatibility for both mono and bi-facial panels. Simple enough to install in a day, built to still be doing its job in twenty-five years.

assembly made simple, fast and safe
1. UPRIGHT SUPPORT
The upright supports come preassembled with the base plate, ensuring swift and effortless installation onto the foundation.
2.STRUCTURAL PURLINS
The 5 structural purlins come preassembled with connecting brackets and are conveniently labeled for ease of assembly
3.NOVA ZERO RAILING
The innovative rail design featuring integrated water guttering system, easily attaching onto the structural purlins with the rail clamp, eliminating the need for drilling.
4.SOLAR PANELS
Install solar panels simply by sliding them from underneath the structure onto the rail and securing with underside panel clamps.
Integrated Water Gutters
Our integrated water guttering system is built into the rail itself, keeping rainwater away from your car and home, with panel joins staying dry. That means no water pooling to corrode the structure, and no gutters to clear out every season.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
Built from materials selected for their superior corrosion resistance, our Solar Carport Systems stand resilient through all weather conditions, ensuring your investment remains robust and enduring.
Safe & Simple Installation
We designed the whole system to be installed from the ground up. Panels slide in from underneath and secure with the rail clamps, so nobody needs to climb onto the structure during assembly. The result is a smoother, safer install, and a faster one.
Unobstructed Car Door Access
Our carport design ensures nothing blocks your car doors, making vehicle entry and exit effortless. This enhanced convenience seamlessly integrates into and uplifts your daily routine.
What types of vehicles can the NOVA carport accommodate?
The NOVA Zero Railing Carport System is versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of vehicles, from standard cars and SUVs to larger vehicles such as vans and trucks. We recommend the maximum height of your parked vehicle to be under 2.3m.
What maintenance is required for the carport system?
The NOVA Zero Railing Carport System is designed for low maintenance. The high-quality materials used in its construction are durable and weather-resistant. Regular checks and occasional cleaning of the solar panels and guttering system are recommended to maintain optimal performance and appearance.
Is the ZERO Railing carport suitable for commercial projects, or just residential?
The ZERO Railing system is a modular, railless solar panel carport built mainly for residential use, single and double car spaces where fast, simple installation matters most. For larger commercial projects, covering dozens or hundreds of bays, feeding a building’s grid connection or an EV charging network, we have a dedicated commercial carport system engineered for that scale.
How does the waterproofing actually work?
Water protection is built into the rail itself. The rail design has an integrated guttering system that captures rainwater and drains it away properly, so the space stays dry enough to use underneath even in heavy rain.
Is the system engineered for New Zealand wind loads and standards?
Yes. In New Zealand, solar carports are engineered to NZS 1170.5, the standard for structural wind actions, with the rating matched to the wind zone for your site. Ask the NOVA team for a general structural engineering report to understand what it covers, including any building consent requirements for your project.”
What does a solar carport cost?
Solar carports in New Zealand generally run about NZD $3.50 to $5.00 per watt installed in 2026, with commercial projects at scale dropping as low as $3.20 per watt. Where you land in that range comes down to a few things: how many car spaces you’re covering, single or double configuration, your site conditions, and the foundation type your soil calls for. Because those vary project to project, the honest answer is that pricing is quoted per project rather than off a fixed list. Request a quote and the NOVA team will scope it with you. For a full breakdown of what drives the cost, see our solar carport system cost guide.
